THE FIESTA OF STA. MONICA

            Every year the fiesta of Sta. Monica was held at the town of Panay wherein the statue of the patron was being transferred from every chapels of the town. Until it will be brought back to the church(Sta. Monica Church). After of the comeback of the relic of the patron on the church, the Parish held a 9 days novena mass, that was attended by several priest from different parts of the town.

           During the 2010 fiesta of Sta. Monica, the parish held a blood letting activity to be donated to the Philippine Red Cross (Capiz Chapter). Over a hundred persons all over the town participated in this event and  it has been attended by some important public figures of the town, such as the town Mayor and Vice-Mayor. It was sponsored by the Knight of Columbus, Sta. Monica Parish Panay Capiz, Lead by their Chairman. After of the said activity, the Parish conducted a small thanksgiving party for every one who participated.

         During the fiesta day, many devotee had come to see the Patron before it was entered to the church. Then a mass has been offered for the Patron and after of the Holy mass, a celebration has been held and everyone had joined to celebrate the fiesta of their beloved Patron.
